Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under it's relevant powers, to make the B4347 From A465 To Bridge Inn, Pontrilas Temporary Speed Restriction Order

to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 30 MPH on the B4347 from a point 270 meters north of entrance to Elms Farm to a point 160 meters south of the entrance to Elms Farm Grid Ref: 340305/226485 to 340527/226129.

The said restriction is required due to BT works and the likelihood of danger to the work force and public while the works are taking place. The said restriction will come into force on 10th April 2016 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), or determined earlier by the Herefordshire Council, but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
