Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the B4137 Old Dry Arch near Goodrich, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road : A4137 from Marstow Bridge past Old Dry Arch towards Junction with A40. OS Grid Ref: from 355244/219069 - 355410-218761. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via A4137

onto A49 then onto the A40 and A4137 onto the A40

and then onto A49 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 23rd March 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
