Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U71020 Ashe Ingen Court Road, Bridstow, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U71020 Ashe Ingen Court Road outside Ashe Cottage OS Grid Ref: 358084 / 225407. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1271 onto the A49 onto the C1261 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of polyduct for BT cables and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th March 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
