Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1261 from A49 to Moraston Farm, Bridstow, Temporary Closure Order 2017

to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1261 from A49 to Moraston Farm at the junction with Ashe Ingen Court Road OS Grid Ref: 357957 / 224809. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A49 onto the U71018 Wellsbrook Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of polyduct for BT cables and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 23rd March 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
