LONDON ROADWHEATLEY: RECONSULTATION ON PROPOSED PUFFIN CROSSING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council as the local highway authority under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers proposes to?following an earlier consultation -construct a Puffin crossing (a signal controlled crossing for use by pedestrians) at the following revised location in Wheatley to help improve pedestrian safety in the area:

London Road - 15 metres* northwest of its junction with The Glebe.

(*All dimensions are approximate,taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the crossing.) Plans giving more details are available for public inspection online by visiting: https://consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk, any comments on the proposal should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) by no later than 14th April 2017.

The County Council will consider each response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public; however any personal information will be treated in complete confidence and will not be used for any other purpose.
