Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1120 from A49 to Old School House, Moreton on Lugg Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles at the railway crossing OS Grid Ref: 351226 / 254858. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1126 onto the C1125 onto the A4103 onto the A49 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to essential maintenance works to the level crossing and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 8th April 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 Night.
