Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife andCountryside Act 1981 Dorset County Council (Part of Bridleway 9,Frampton) Public Path Diversion Order 2015
On 13 January 2017 Dorset County Council confirmed the above named order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act1980 as unopposed andt he CountyCouncil has certified that work has been carried out to bring the site of the new highway mentioned in article 2 of the order into afit condition for use by the public. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert part of Bridleway 9, Frampton in the West Dorset District as shown on the order map as follows:-From the existing path:
From the unaffected part of Bridleway 9,north east of Hogleaze Farm at the northern field boundary and south west of All Families Plantationat SY61169248, generally south south east across a field,crossing over atrack in to the next field and continuing south south east across the field,the neast to its junction with Bridle way 6 at SY 61379203. (No recorded width). To a new path:
From the unaffected part of Bridleway 9,north east of Hogleaze Farm at the northern field boundary and southwest of All Families Plantation at SY 61169248,on the southern side of the field boundary to the south of All Families Plantation,east north east to SY61189248, south west of the pond,then south east to SY 61219246 and east to the north eastern corner of the field at SY61309245. Continue south on the western side of the eastern field boundary to the south eastern corner of the field at SY61329221, then east, along the track to its junction with Bridleway 6 at SY61359220. Width: The width of this part of Bridleway 9 is 4 metres. Limitation: Field gate at SY 61329221 to
BS5709:2006.

The order comes into force on 20 January 2017 but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980,as amended,or on the ground that any requirement of the Act,as amended,or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied within relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 9 March 2017, make an application to the High Court.
