Temporary Closure of Bowling Alley Walks, Dorchester
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic [Temporary Restrictions] Act 1991. The Order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. The Order will come into effect, from the 13 March 2017 to the 2 April 2017. But it will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.
The Order is required for Health and Safety reasons for safe working while carrying out the junction improvements.

Temporary Closure of Hurst Road, Moreton
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along HURST ROAD, MORETON from its junction with the B3390, southwards for approximately 300 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Monday 20 March 2017 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Tuesday 28 March 2017. The road will be closed between 09.00hrs and 16.00hrs daily, but will be open outside of these times and also over the weekend.
This order will enable Dorset County Council to carry out carriageway drainage and resurfacing works.
A locally signed diversion route via Moreton will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
