(Constantine Road, Colchester) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph speed limit on Constantine Road in the Borough of Colchester, for its entire length. The road is currently 30MPH by virtue of street lighting.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 3 March 2017.

at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 67) Order 201* Toucan Crossing - Haven Road, Colchester
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To revoke 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following length of Haven Road in the Borough of Colchester as specified: Road Description
Haven Road, BOTH SIDES: from its junction with the western kerbline of Distillery Lane, Colchester north west for a distance of approximately 43 metres.
Schedule 1 of The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) Order 2008 is hereby varied to include and revoke the above No Waiting at Any Time restrictions.
Notice is also hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
the Essex County Council proposes to establish a Toucan Crossing on the following length

Haven Road, The centre line of the proposed Toucan Crossing will be located approximately Colchester 26 metres north-west of the western extended kerb line Distillery Lane.

(Newbridge Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Newbridge Road, in the Parish of Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Silverhorne Close, West for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 7 March 2017 for one day or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement of manhole frame and cover in carriageway is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via B1023 Church Road, Grove Road, Wilkin Drive, Kiltie Road, Grove Road, and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 7 March 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hamilton Road, Colchester) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections
84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph speed limit on Hamilton Road in the Borough
of Colchester, for its entire length from its junction with B1022 Maldon Road to its junction
with B1026 Butt Road. The road is currently 30MPH by virtue of street lighting.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 3 March 2017.
