Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the B4362 from Combe Corner to Wapley Lane, Coombes Moor, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: B4362 from Combe Corner to Wapley Lane at Hindwell Brook OS Grid Ref: 334530 / 263437. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4355 onto the A44 onto the C1031 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the clearing of flood arches and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 13th March 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
