Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U65018 Norton Lane to A44, Whitbourne Temporary Closure Order 2017
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with the A44 to outside Longlands Farm OS Grid Ref: 370930 / 256303. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4203 onto the A44 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to rebuilding of a parapet wall after a vehicle collision and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 23rd March 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
