Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under it's relevant powers, have made the C1313 Linley Green Road, Whitbourne, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road : C1313 Linley Green Road from Toll Cottage to the Herfordshire/Worcestershire county boundary OS Grid Ref: 370836 / 253521. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1313 onto the C2070 toward Stocks Farm onto the C2064 toward Acton Green onto the B4220 onto the C1137 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to repairs to disused railway bridge and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 13th March 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
