Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1114 From C1110 to Hollybush Cottage, Pencombe Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with the C1116 Crowels Ash to outside Mandeleen, Pencombe OS Grid Ref: 359916/252716 to 359976/252768. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C116 toward Westbury onto the | A465 onto the C1117 toward Little Cowarne and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation | of new water mains and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 27th March 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 14 weeks.
