Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U65613 Brookhouse Cottage Road, Bishops Frome Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the juinction with the C1138 to the junction with the C1135 OS Grid Ref: 367231/249630 to 368161/249737. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1135 onto Frome Manor Road or C1138 Paulton Cross to Acton Green Road and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the installation of new water mains and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 31st March 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 8 weeks.
