The East Renfrewshire Council (Lochlibo Road, Neilston-Uplawmoor) (Temporary Restrictions to Use of Roads) Order 2017
On the 15th February 2017 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works on A736 Lochlibo Road, Neilston & Uplawmoor.The Order is valid from Monday 13th March until Friday 28th April 2017 or on completion of the works if sooner.
The Order will authorise the closure of Lochlibo Road, Neilston
from its junction with Holehouse Brae to its junction with Shilford Mill Road from Monday 13th March to Friday 31st March 2017 and
Lochlibo Road, Uplawmoor from its junction with Shilford Road
to its junction with Neilston Road, Uplawmoor from Saturday 1st April to Friday 28th April 2017. Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure will be permitted by the contractor on
site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works
going on at the time. Pedestrian access will be unaffected. Alternative Routes
13th March - 31st March:To Uplawmoor: Lochlibo Road - Neilston Road - Main Street - Uplawmoor Road - Shilford Road - Lochlibo Road and opposite is Shilford Mill Road - Uplawmoor Road - Main Street - Neilston Road - and Lochlibo Road
1st April-28th April:To Neilston: Lochlibo Road - Shilford Mill Road - Uplawmoor Road - Neilston Road - Lochlibo Road and opposite is Neilston Road - Uplawmoor Road - Shilford Road - and Lochlibo
Road
The Order will permit temporary No Waiting at AnyTime restrictions where needed if No Waiting cones are placed on the following
roads in Neilston: Lochlibo Road, Holehouse Brae, Main Street, Uplawmoor Road, Shilford Road, Shilford Mill Road, and Neilston Road and in Uplawmoor on Neilston Road and Lochlibo Road.
The Order will restrict traffic to one-way operation in the direction given on the following sections of roads:
Shilford Mill Road south-eastwards from Lochlibo Road to Uplawmoor Road;
Shilford Road north-eastwards from Uplawmoor Road to Lochlibo Road;
Lochlibo Road eastwards from Shilford Road to Shilford Mill Road.
The Order will restrict the maximum vehicular speed to 40 mph on the following roads in Neilston: Uplawmoor Road, Shilford Road, and Shilford Mill Road and in Uplawmoor on Neilston Road.
