MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL: PORTSKEWETT COMMUNITY (LEECHPOOL HOLDINGS, PORTSKEWETT, TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) - TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 26th February 2017 MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order has been made to facilitate essential British Telecom works. The effect of the order will be to close a section of Leechpool Holdings, Portskewett. An alternative route will be available via; Diversion: Travel in a Northerly direction along the R140 until its junction with the B4245. Travel in a South Westerly direction along the B4245 until its junction with the C69.8. Travel in a South Easterly direction along the C69.8 until its junction with the R140 and vice versa. The Order will come into force on the 26th February 2017 between 08:00 – 16:00hrs or until such time as the works are complete. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes, or who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of, a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
