(B6352 FRONT STREET, SACRISTON) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2017

The Council, on 16/02/17 made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all vehicular traffic a 415m length of B6352 Front Street, Sacriston between its junctions with B6312 and the cemetery access to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. The maximum duration of the temporary closure under the Order is 18 months and is required from between 7.00am and 7.00pm each day on two consecutive weekends starting 04/03/17. Alternative route: from the southern side of the closure from Sacriston crossroads north easterly on road B6312 and turning north westerly on Cross Lane to B6532 Edmondsley Lane leading to the northern side of the closure, and vice versa.

(BEAMISHBURN ROAD, BEAMISH, STANLEY) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2017

The Council proposes in not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all traffic Beamishburn Road that extends southwards from its junction with Byway No 62 Stanley Parish (the road leading to Beamish Hall), Beamish for a distance of 70m by reason of bridge repair works to be undertaken. It is anticipated that access will be available for pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders for the majority ofthe works (excluding resurfacing works). The maximumduration ofthe temporary closure under the Order is 18 months and is required from13/03/17 for8 weeks. Alternative route: from the northern side of the closure from Beamishburn Road northwards onto A6076 then southerly on Causey Road to the junction with Badgers Wood/Beamishburn Road to the southern side of the closure, and vice versa.

However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for the above 2 closures may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.

(CHESTER-LE-STREET AND BIRTLEY) (PARKING & WAITING RESTRICTIONS) CONSOLIDATION NO. 3 ORDER 2015 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2017

The Council intend to make an Order under Sections 1, 2,4, 32, 35,45, 46,46A, 47 & 49 & Pt IV of Sch. 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended & Pt 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, the effect of which will: (a) introduce Restricted Waiting on the east side of Grey Ave from a point outside No. 2 westerly for approx. 25 mts, (b) remove a length of the current Restricted Waiting from a point where it meets the No Waiting At Any Time restriction on Lombard Drive slightly east of the junction with North Rd (north side of road) and replace with No Waiting At Any Time on both north & south sides of the road, (c) introduce No Waiting At Any Time on Ropery Lane from West Lane to Front St, (d) introduce No Waiting At Any Time on the junction of Springfield Gdns and Newcastle Rd, (e) remove a length of the existing No Waiting At Any Time on Newcastle Rd at a point outside of No. 2 Newcastle Rd, (f) amend the existing "Disabled Badge Holders Only Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 2 hours no return within 1 hour" parking bay on the B6313 opposite the Methodist Church with a "Disabled Badge Holders Only 2 hour no return within 1 hour" restriction, and (g) minor administrative amendments. All other restrictions will remain unchanged. A copy ofthe draft Order & supporting documents may be inspected at Chester-le-Street Library & CountyHall, Durhamduring normal working hours and via the Council website.
