Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (U52119 Goodwood Avenue, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017 The Council have made an Order to close that part of U52119 Goodwood Avenue, Worcester, from its junction with Lancing Close to its junction with U52117 Arundel Drive in order to facilitate remedial carriageway works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be
undertaken.
Alternative route: U52117 Arundel Drive, Battenhall Avenue, U52119 Goodwood Avenue and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day: Commencing: 3 March 2017.
(C2078 Broughton Hackett to Crowle)(Temporary
Closure) Order 2017
The Council have made an Order to close that part of C2078 Broughton Hackettto Crowle, from its junction with U42408 Bredicot Lane to its junction with the Crowle Parish Hall in order to facilitate Severn Trent
works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U42408 Bredicot Lane, U42408
road from A4538 Pershore Lane to Bredicot Village A4538 Pershore Lane, U43006 Kitts Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day: Commencing: 26 February 2017.
(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Cornmeadow Lane, The Grove and St Anne's Road, Worcester] On 9 February 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit
waiting at any time on the following lengths and
sides of roads in Worcester
Cornmeadow Lane (west side) from its junction with The Grove for a distance of 12 metres in a northerly direction and 10.5 metres in a southerly direction: (east side) from its junction with St Anne's Road for a distance of 7.5 metres in a northerly direction and 26.5
metres in a southerly direction. The Grove (both
sides) from its junction with Cornmeadow Lane for
a distance of 12 metres in a westerly direction.
St Anne's Road (both sides) from its junction with
Cornmeadow Lane for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of
contraventions of waiting prohibitions and
restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 2 March 2017. A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of
Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at
Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB
and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5
2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the
Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
