AND WEST WATFORD) (CONTROLLED PARKING ZONES) (CONSOLIDATION)
ORDER 2010 (ST ALBANS ROAD) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 19) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Watford Borough Council, acting as agents for the Hertfordshire County Council, proposes to make the above mentioned Order under Sections 1,2,4,32, 35,45,46,46A, 47,49,51 and 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order would be to integrate all the existing Borough and County Council Traffic Regulation Orders that apply to street parking in St Albans Road, Watford south of the railway bridge. In future they will be part of the Order governing the Watford Controlled Parking Zones Scheme. The benefits will beto:-
¦ to improve the efficiency of the operations of the Street Parking Enforcement Service,

¦ to resolve anomalies between Orders made by the

Borough and County Councils,
¦ to resolve anomalies between the Orders and the current street signing,

¦ to clarify the descriptions of the boundaries of St Albans Road for the CPZ Zones A and D.

The proposals make no changes to the current street parking arrangements in this section of St Albans Road. Details of the proposals are set out in the Draft Order, which together with the relevant location plan and statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined from 8.45am to 5.15pm on Monday to Thursday and 8.45 am to 4.45 pm on Friday at the Customer Service Centre, Town Hall, Watford, WD17 3EX. Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made, must be sent in writing to be received by me at the address below by Monday 13th March 2017.
