Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Cumnor Bypass A420 Laybys closed Date of Order: 13 February 2017 Coming into force: 17 February 2017
This Order is being introduced to facilitate excavation works for highway drainage repairs which is anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete.
The effect of the Order is to continue the closure by urgent notice of 2 laybys on the A420 north of the Cumnor interchange, one on the Oxford-bound carriageway between 13-24 February, and one on the opposite carriageway between 27 February and 3 March 2017.The A420 will not itself be closed. Appropriate traffic signs are displayed indicating the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
