Before Cheshire West & Chester Council can approve a building for
civil marriage ceremonies and civil partnerships, the applicant must
place a Public Notice in any newspaper (including a free one) which is published at least weekly in the local area.
This is to allow for any public objections and must not be done before the application is sent to Cheshire Register Office.
The Public Notice must be in the form shown below. Once published, you should send a photocopyofthe Notice together with the name of the newspaper and the date of its publication to the Superintendent Registrar at the Register Office, Goldsmith House, Chester CH1 2BG.

Application for premises to be approved as a venue for civil marriages and civil partnerships
Notice is hereby given that I, (*) Stephen Birchall
have applied to Cheshire West & Chester Council for approval to be given for the premises described below to be used as a venue for civil marriages and civil partnerships
Cheshire Outdoors/Cheshire Falconry (#) Blakemere Village, Cheshire Rd, Northwich, CW8 2EB The Application, together with a plan of the premises which shows the location of the proposed ceremony room(s), will be available for public inspection at Chester Register Office, Goss Street Chester, CH1 2BG. Any person wishing to object to the Grant of Approval should write, stating the reasons for the objection, to the Lifetime Services Manager, Register Office, Chester, CH1 2BG.
