ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (KENDAL ROAD, RAMSBOTTOM) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Kendal Road, Ramsbottom - Temporary Road Closure.
The reason for the proposed order is to enable essential electrical works.
The diversion route will be along - Longsight Road, Brooklands Road and Kendal
Road West.
The proposed Order will come into operation Monday 20th February 2017 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, (between approx 9.00am and 5.00pm) anticipated duration of works is 1 week. Dated le" February 2017 Council Solicitor

The reason for the proposed order is due to the failure of the bridge superstructure (superstructure removed).
The alternative route will be via Outwood Road, Mill Street, Pilkington Way, Sion Street and Phoenix Way and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on Thursday 16 February 2016 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months. Dated 16 February 2017 Council Solicitor

The reason for the proposed order is due to the failure of the bridge superstructure (superstructure partially removed).

The Order comes into operation on Thursday 16 February 2016 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months (with the possibility of an extension being required).
