PLANNING ACTS
Article 4(1) Direction for Kingsholme Close in the East Hagbourne Conservation Area. The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015
Article 4(1).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an Article 4(1) Direction has been made, 15 February 2017 in respect of Kingsholme Close in the East Hagbourne Conservation Area.
The Article 4(1) Direction withdraws permission granted by Article 3 of the said Order for the following classes of development described in Parts 1, 2 and 11 of Schedule 2 to the above Order which would front a public highway.
Part 1
Class A -
Class C -Class D -
Class F -Class G -
The enlargement, improvement or other alteration of a dwellinghouse.
Any other alteration to the roof of a dwellinghouse. The erection or construction of a porch outside any external door of a dwellinghouse. The provision within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse of a hard surface for any purpose incidental to the enjoyment of the dwellinghouse or within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse as such.
The installation, alteration or replacement of a chimney.
Part 2
Class A - The erection, construction, maintenance, improvement or alteration of a gate, fence, wall or other means of enclosure.
Class C - The painting of the exterior of any building or work.
Part 11
Class C - Demolition of the whole or any part of any gate, fence, wall or other means of enclosure.
The Direction will remain in force for six months from the date of being made, i.e. until 14 August 2017. The Direction will then either expire or will continue in force after that time if it is confirmed by the council in the meantime.
A copy of the Direction and a map defining the areas are available on the Council's website www.southoxon.gov.uk/services-and-advice/planning-and-building/ conservation-and-design/conservation-areas/article-4-direc and are available for public inspection at the council offices, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton OX14 4SB.
A six week period of formal public consultation will commence from 15 February to 29 March 2017 when any representations on the Article 4(1) Direction should be made to the Council. Representations can be made via the Council's online survey at http://survey.southandvale.gov.uk/s/ KingsholmeClose/ by email to the Conservation and Design Team to planning@southoxon.gov.uk or in writing to Conservation and Design Team, Planning Services, South Oxfordshire District Council, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton OX14 4SB by 29 March 2017.
