Sedgemoor District Council in pursuance of the requirements of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, Section 70(3) hereby give Notice of its intention to vary the fees for Hackney Carriage Vehicle and Drivers, Private Hire Vehicle and Drivers and Private Hire Operators, as from 1st April 2017:-

*Private Hire Operator Licences are currently five-year licences. **Driver fees: This is the licence fee - The DBS and administration fee is payable in addition to the above.
*** A dual driver fee is being introduced in respect of new applications for both a Hackney Driver's Licence and a Private Hire Driver's Licence made by the same driver at the same time. Any person wishing to object to the above proposed changes should submit their objection, in writing, to Licensing Unit, Sedgemoor District Council, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 3AR, within 28 days of the date of publication of this Notice. If no objection to the variation is received, the varied rates will come into effecton 1stApril 2017.
