(Various Roads, District of Tendring) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.1) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Tendring as specified: Road Description Alternative Route
Wix Road/Stone From Clacton Road's junction with Harwich Road, Oakley Road, Green/Colchester Harwich Road to Wix Roads junction Wix Road, B1414 Beaumont
Road/Clacton Road, with Harwich Road, a distance of
Road/Cross Hill/Harwich Road.
Great Oakley/ approximately 3831 metres.
Stones Green South Street, Manningtree Street
South Street, Mill Hill, Colchester Road, High Street and vice versa.

a distance of approximately 274 metres.
Shore Lane, From its junction with B1352 Station
Bradfield Road to a point approximately
460 metres North East. Beach Road, From the St Osyth Beach Holiday
St Osyth Park access to a point approximately

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force. The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18 month period from 6th February 2017, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

The Order will come into effect on 6th February 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months
or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Kirby Road, Frinton and Walton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kirby Road, in the Parish of Frinton and Walton in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Audries Estate, east for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 23 February 2017 for one day or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement of manhole frame and cover in carriageway is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Elm Tree Avenue, B1336 Walton Road, and vice versa. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.

(Key Road, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Key Road, Clacton on Sea in the
Tendring District, from the junction of the Old road for a distance approximately 27m in
a West direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th February 2017 for 26 days,
or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works
(AZ0081000555062 - National Grid Gas Distribution) with appropriate signs showing and/or
displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and
workforce while gas main connection works are undertaken by National Grid Gas Distribution.
An alternative route is available via Old Road, Coppins Road, Dudley Road, Warwick Crescent,
Warwick Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 27th February 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(St Osyth Road, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Osyth Road, Clacton on Sea in the Tendring District, from the junction of Old road for a distance approximately 40m in a West direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th February 2017 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AZ0081000554988 - National Grid Gas Distribution) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Gas Mains connections works are undertaken by National Grid Gas Distribution.
An alternative route is available via Old Road, Coppins Road, St Osyth Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 27th February 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 9 February 2017
