Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U74205 Old School Road from Sunnybank to Sheperds Hill, Lower Maescoed, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U74205 Old School Road from Sunnybank to Shepherds Hill from the junction with the C1213 to the junction with the U74401 The Common Road OS Grid Ref: 334210 / 229381. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U74401 The Common Road onto the C1213 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to accessing overhead cable network to restore a customers service and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 13th February 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
