Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1296 from C1295 to Fishpool Hill track, Woolhope Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with the C1295 to the junction with Fishpool Hill Track OS Grid Ref: 360591 / 235002. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1295 onto the U72214 Common Hill onto the U72215 Nash Farm Road onto the B4224 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of polyduct for BT cables and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 27th February 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 16 days.
