THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) (KENDAL ROAD, RAMSBOTTOM) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-
Kendal Road, Ramsbottom - Temporary Road Closure.
The reason for the proposed order is to enable essential electrical works.
The diversion route will be along - Longsight Road, Brooklands Road and Kendal Road West.
The proposed Order will come into operation Monday 20th February 2017 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, (between approx 9.00am and 5.00pm) anticipated duration of works is 1 week. Dated 9 February 2017 Council Solicitor
