Notice of Hearing Highways Act 1980 Section 119
Notice is hereby given that an Inspector will be appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to determine
Herefordshire County Council Footpath LR5 (Part) Ledbury Public Path Diversion Order 2016
and will attend at:
Herefordshire Group Training Association, Holmer Road, Hereford, HR4 9SX On Tuesday 14 March 2017 at 10.00am
To hold a hearing into the Order The effect of the Order, if confirmed without modifications, will be to divert that length of Footpath LR5 (Part) in the Parish of Ledbury Rural which commences at OS Grid Reference SO 7184, 3553 (point B on the order plan) and continues in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 86 metres through a plantation woodland then continuing through a compound for a further 30 metres, then a field for approximately 99 metres to the junction with footpath LR7 at OS
Grid Reference SO 7171, 3537 (point D on the
order plan). The total length of the existing said footpath is approximately 215 metres.
An alternative footpath will be created, being 2 metres in width, which commences at County Road
A417 at OS Grid Reference SO 7185, 3553 (point
A on the order plan) then continues in a generally westerly direction for approximately 12 metres to a field gate at OS Grid Reference SO 7184, 3553 (point B on the order plan) it then continues in a westerly direction through a small wooded area and a field for approximately 178 metres to join
footpath LR7 at OS Grid Reference SO 7167, 3552
(point C on the order plan). The total length of the said proposed new footpath is approximately 190 metres.
