CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
VARIOUS STREETS IN KEIGHLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 646) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council due to the likelihood of danger by reason to enable demolition works at Keighley College to be executed on or near various streets in Keighley has made the above-named Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed as follows:-
North Street from the roundabout at its junction with High Street
to its junction with Alice Street
Cavendish Street from its junction with Lord Street to its junction with North Street
Lord Street from its Junction with Cavendish Street for approximately 50 metres in a northerly direction
Russell Street/ from its junction with North Street to its junction Devonshire Street/ with Scott Street Albert Street
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of roads.
No alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order is available. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via North Street (unaffected section), High Street, Worth Way, East Parade, Bradford Road, Hardings Road, Skipton Road and vice versa. The Order comes into operation on Sunday 19th February 2017 and continue in effect on the following dates of Sunday 5th March 2017, Sunday 12th March 2017, Sunday 19th March 2017 and Sunday 26th March 2017 between the hours of 06:00 to 18:00 each day (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
