BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(DUKESHILL ROAD, BRACKNELL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2017
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along Dukeshill Road between its junction with Horsneile Lane and its junction with B3018 Binfield Road.
The alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be via B3018 Binfield Road, Shepherds Lane, Merryhill Road and Horsneile Lane, or via B3018 Binfield Road, A329 Millennium Way, Bull Lane and Horsneile Lane.
The purpose of this Order is to enable works to be safely executed on the carriageway, namely the replacement of a water mains pipe.
The Order was made on 5th February 2017 and came into operation on the 6th February 2017. Although the Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months it is anticipated that the works requiring the road closure will be completed by the 13th March 2017.
