SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (MARLBOROUGH ROAD) (RESTRICTED ROAD) ORDER 2016

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 1 February 2017 Swindon Borough Council made the above Order under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to revoke the existing 40mph speed limit on Marlborough Road and replace with a restricted road status with a speed limit of 30mph at the following location:

Marlborough Road

From a point 22 metres south east of its junction with Broome Manor Lane to its junction with Coate Roundabout.

The Order will be operative as of 6 February 2017 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 1 February 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
