TEMPORARY  TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2017
The Council has made the following Orders under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. Road closures or no waiting/loading restrictions will apply to all vehicles, except vehicles engaged in the relevant works:-
ROAD CLOSURES - BALFOUR ST. HIGHHOLM AVE & ALDERWOOD RD. PORT GLASGOW
Road closures will be in force the full length of Balfour St, Highholm Ave from Balfour Stto Station car park access and Alderwood Rd from Glen Ave to Ardenclutha Drwill be closed from 8.30am on 11/02/17 to 6pm on 12/02/17 to allow for carriageway maintenance works. Alternative route: Shore St to Highholm Ave via Shore St, Scarlow St, Fore St, A8 Greenock Rd,Clune Brae, Kilmacolm Rd, Boglestone Ave, Ardmore Rd, Springhill Rd, Highholm Ave & vice versa. Alderwood Rd to Shore St & Highholm Ave via Alderwood Rd, Glenpark Dr, Glen Ave, William St, Brown St, Shore Stand as above to Higholm Ave. Access to station car park will be maintained.
NO WAITING/LOADING - CARDWELL RD. ADAM ST & STEEL ST. GOUROCK
No waiting/loading restrictions will be inforce on Cardwell Rd between Nos. 17-19 northside, on Adam St south section on both sides and on Steel St south section on both sides, from 9.30am to 3.30pm daily from 17/02/17 to 23/02/17 for BT works.
NO WAITING/LOADING - CARDWELL RD. CALEDONIA CRES. GOUROCK
No waiting/loading restrictions will be inforce on Cardwell Rd both sides of the carriageway from Chapel St to Caledonia Gdns & Chapel St to Caledonia Cres, from 9.30am to 3.30pm daily from 17/02/17 to
23/02/17 for BT works.
NO WAITING/LOADING - WESTRAYAVE. PORT GLASGOW
No waiting/loading restrictions will apply on the south footway from 2-81Westray Ave, from 8am on 20/02/17 to 6pm on 24/02/17 to allow for footway resurfacing works.
ROAD CLOSURE & NO WAITING/LOADING - BATH ST. GOUROCK
Bath St will be closed from junction with Kempock Pland no waiting/ loading restrictions will apply on northside of carriageway from Adelaide St to Kempock Pl, from 8am on 20/02/17 to 6pm on 19/03/17 for Scottish Gasworks. Alternative route: Bath St to Kempock Pl via Adelaide St, St John'sRd, Shore St; Kempock Pl to Bath St via Kempock Pl, Kempock St, Lower Kempock St, Station Rd, Shore St, St John's Rd, Adelaide St, Bath St.
ROAD CLOSURE & NO WAITING/LOADING - DRUMSHANTIE RD. GOUROCK
Drumshantie Rd will be closed on east leg of Y junction from Broomberry Dr to Drumshantie Rd & no waiting/loading restrictions will apply on Broomberry Dr & King St, from 8am on 22/02/17 to 6pm on 24/02/17 for BT works. Alternative route: Broomberry Dr, John St,Shore St,King St & vice versa.
Access for emergency vehicles & pedestrians will be maintained. The above restrictions will only be effective when displayed by signs and cones in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
NELSON ST. GREENOCK - "LANE CLOSURE" RESTRICTION
Notice is hereby givenunder Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,that the above Order, of which notice of making was given on 24/01/17, is hereby revoked.
