WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (C2207 Old Hollow, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017
The Council have made an Order to close that part of C2207 Old Hollow, Malvern, from its junction with U63544 Old Hollow for a distance of 300 metres in a south westerly direction in order to facilitate new sewer, water and electrical connection works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2207 Old Hollow, B4232 West Malvern Road, B4232 North Malvern Road, B4219 Cowleigh Road, U63544 Old Hollow and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days: Commencing: 6 February 2017.
(U63226 Russell Drive, Malvern)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 The Council have made an Order to close that part of U63226 Russell Drive, Malvern, from its junction with U63226 Russell Drive to its junction with C2288 Pickersleigh Avenue in orderto facilitate footway reconstruction and kerbing works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: - C2288 Pickersleigh Avenue, U63225 Pickersleigh Road, U63226
Russell Drive and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days (within a 4 week period): Commencing: 8 February 2017.
(U63041 Lower Wyche Road, Malvern)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 The Council have made an Order to close that part of U63041 Lower Wyche Road, Malvern, from a point 65 metres north of its junction with U63015 Old Wyche Road for a distance of 50 metres in a northerly direction in order to facilitate Severn Trent
works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: - U3041 Lower Wyche Road SR, U63016 Lower Road, U63015
Old Wyche Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days: Commencing:
6 February 2017.
(Footpath MV-612, Malvern)(Temporary Closure Order) 2017 The Council have made an Order the effect of which is to close Footpath MV-612, Malvern from its junction with U63512 Quest Hills Road to its junction with U63518 Somers Road in order to facilitate resurfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the
highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary
works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: is via U63512 Quest Hills Road, Footpath MV-611, Malvern,
U63516 Lansdowne Road, U63518 Somers Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or
until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be
operative for 3 weeks commencing on 6 February 2017.
(Footpath MV-648, Malvern)(Temporary Closure Order) 2017
The Council have made an Order the effect of which is to close Footpath MV-648,
Malvern from its junction with C2288 Pickersleigh Avenue to its junction with
U63226 Russell Drive in orderto facilitate resurfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the
highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary
works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: is via U63226 Russell Drive, U63225 Pickersleigh Road, Link
Footpath F60192, C2288 Pickersleigh Avenue and vice versa.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months
or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be
operative for 3 weeks commencing on 6 February 2017.
(U63206 Albert Road North, Malvern)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 The Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order to close that part of U63206 Albert Road North, Malvern, from its junction with U63211 Cockshot Road to its junction with U63205 Como Road in order to facilitate Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U63206 Albert Road North, U63204 Victoria Road, U63205 Como
Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days: Commencing 24 February 2017 - In two phases.
Phase 1 - 24 February 2017-15 March 2017 between U63211 Cockshot Road &
U63208 Sling Lane
Phase 2 - 16 February 2017-31 March 2017 between Sling Lane & U63205 Como
Road.
