(D83/2 Elibankto Peel) (Temporary Closing) Order 2017
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 13 February 2017 and is expected to remain in effect until 17 February 2017 between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 each day. The closure is required for patching works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D83/2 at Elibank to Peel.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the D83/1, D80/1, A72 and the D83/2 to the
point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access will be maintained for cyclists and pedestrians subjectto minor delays.
