(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Parking and Waiting) Amendment No. 84 Order 201*
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following length of Festival Link, Carnival Close, Festival Way in the Borough of Basildon:
Road Description
Festival Link, NORTH SIDE
Basildon j) From Hs junction of Festival Way for an approximate distance of 39 metres in a westerly direction, ii) From a point approximately 84.5 metres west of the junction with Festival Way for an approximate distance of 42 metres in a westerly direction. SOUTH SIDE: For the entire length of road from the junction with Festival Way to the junction with Waterfront Walk.

BOTH SIDES: From a point approximately 40 metres north of the roundabout with Carnival Close in a
southerly direction for a distance of approximately 190 metres, inclusive of the roundabout with Carnival Close.
EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 110 metres north from the roundabout with Carnival Close in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 283 metres. WEST SIDE:
i) From a point approximately 88.5 metres north of the roundabout with Carnival Close in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 53.5 metres.

ii) From a point approximately 167 metres north of the roundabout with Carnival Close in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 75 metres.

iii) From a point approximately 265.5 metres north of the roundabout with Carnival Close in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 34.5 metres.

2. To formally revoke the 'Disabled Badge Holders Only' restrictions and 'No Waiting at Any Time' Restrictions originally located opposite the Leisure Centre and Swimming Pool on Rectory Park Drive, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon. This is purely a paper exercise to ensure the original restrictions are removed following the new road layout (Tile: TQ735 882 revision No. 2 to revision No. 3).

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon District) (Parking and Waiting) Consolidation Order 2008 by introducing TQ705 900 revision 1 and substituting tile numbers TQ705 897 and TQ705 902 revision 1 to revision 2, TQ735 882 revision No. 2 to revision No. 3.
