ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council Intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effects of the Orders are:

RED LANE AND ADJACENT STREETS. WARRINGTON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
To Introduce a temporary prohibition of driving on:
Red Lane - From Its junction with Hlghwood Road to Its junction with Whitefleld Road Birchdale Road - From Its junction with Red Lane for a distance of approximately 25m In an easterly direction
IGngsley Drive - From Its junction with Red Lane for a distance of approximately 25m in an easterly direction
Warren Road - From its junction with Red Lane for a distance of approximately 25m in an easterly direction
Highwood Road - From its junction with Red Lane for a distance of approximately 25m in an easterly direction.
The Order will be effective on 19th February 2017 for a period of 10 days between 9.30am - 3.30pm as and signed on site. The alternative route will be via Whitefield Road, Walton Road, London Road, Quarry Lane, Windmill Lane and vice versa. The closure is required to undertake essential road marking improvement works. A574 BIRCHWOOD WAY. BIRCHWOOD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
To introduce a temporary prohibition of driving on A574 Birchwood Way from its junction with Faraday Street to its junction with Moss Gate/Daten Avenue. The Order will be effective on Monday 20th February 2017 for 5 days. The closures are expected to be in operation between 9pm - 5am as and when signed on site. The works are weather dependent therefore the timescales detailed are a guideline only. The alternative route is Birchwood Way, Daten Avenue, Birchwood Park Avenue, Oakwood Gate roundabout, Birchwood Way and vice versa. The closure is required to undertake carriageway resurfacing works and road duct crossings associated with the improvements of the adjacent signal controlled pedestrian crossing facility. LATHOM AVENUE, NORTH AVENUE, SHAWS AVENUE, EAST AVENUE, WEST AVENUE & ADJACENT STREETS. WARRINGTON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
To introduce a prohibition of driving and clearway on: Lathom Avenue - Its entire length North Avenue - Its entire length Shaw's Avenue - Its entire length East Avenue - its entire length West Avenue - Its entire length
Grace Avenue - From its junction with North Avenue for a distance of approximately 25m in a westerly direction
Corbett Avenue (northern and southern access points) - From its junction with North Avenue for a distance of approximately 25m in a westerly direction Mortimer Avenue - From its junction with West Avenue for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction.
Central Avenue - From its junction with Shaw's Avenue to its junction with Fitzherbert Street
The Order will be effective from Monday 20th February 2017 for 6 weeks. The closures are expected to be in operation between 7.30am - 5pm as and when signed on site. The alternative routes will be:
North Avenue via Alder Lane, Statham Avenue, Ireland Street and vice versa Lathom Avenue via Mortimer Avenue, Alder Lane, Central Avenue and vice versa Shaw's Avenue via Alder Lane, Central Avenue and vice versa East Avenue and West Avenue via Alder Lane, Shaw's Avenue, South Avenue and vice versa
The restrictions and closures are required to undertake essential carriageway resurfacing works. Ref: HIGH/1713
FROGHALL LANE. WARRINGTON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
To introduce a prohibition of driving on Froghall Lane from its junction with Midland Way to its junction with Arthur Street. The Order will be effective on Sunday 19th February 2017 between the hours of 6am -11 am as and when signed on site. The alternative routes are as follows:-

Froghall Lane (southwest bound traffic) via Bewsey Road, Lovely Lane, Priestley Street Midland Way (eastbound traffic) via Priestley Street, Sankey Green Island, Lovely Land, Bewsey Road
Priestley Street (northeast bound traffic) via Midland Way, Lythgoes Lane, Pinners Brow, Tanners Lane.
The closure is required to allow Network Rail to carry out inspections to the structures of the railway bridges. Ref: HIGH/1699
BIRCHWOOD WAY. WARRINGTON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND FOOTWAY CLOSURE) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
To introduce a prohibition of driving and footway closure as follows: Prohibition of Driving
Birchwood Way (westbound traffic only) from its junction with Oakwood Gate to its junction with Woolston Grange Avenue Footway Closure
Birchwood Way (South footway) The length of footway carried by the M6 motorway Bridge
The Order will be effective from 17th February 2017 for a period of 3 weeks, as and when signed on site, however the carriageway restrictions will only be in operation between the following times:
From 8pm on the Friday 17th February 2017 to 6am -18th February 2017
From 8pm on the 18th February 2017 to 6am -19th February 2017
From 8pm on the 5th March 2017 to 6am - 6th March 2017.
Alternative route for Prohibition of Driving will be Birchwood Way (Westbound
Traffic) via Birchwood Park Avenue, Warrington Road, East Lancashire Road, Newton
Road, Winwick Lane, Winwick Link Road, Newton Road, Winwick Road, Lythgoes Lane,
Manchester Road, Woolston Grange Avenue
Alternative route for Footway Closure will be Birchwood Way (South footway) via
Lowes Farm Subway, Warrington Road, Fearnhead Lane, Nook Lane, Anderson Close, Blackburne Close, Woolston Grange Avenue
The restrictions are required to allow Highways England to carry out bridge parapet replacement works. Ref: HIGH/1706
ACCESS WILL BE UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE RELEVANT CONTRACTOR FOR THE DURATION OF THE WORKS.
