ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (as Amended) - SECTION 14(1)
THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS
(PROW 837, BEECH GARDENS FOOTPATH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough of St. Helens propose not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in either direction along Public Right of Way 837, on the footpath from Beech Gardens to Parsons Brow.
The Order will come into force on Thursday 9th February 2017 and will have a maximum duration of six months but will terminate on completion of the works, which is expected to be seven weeks.
The reason for making this Order is to facilitate the installation of flood alleviation measures, including the replacement of the footbridge and the diversion of services.
