Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the A465 Belmont Road, Hereford Temporary Closure Order 2017
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles at the junction with the A49 OS Grid Ref: 350732 / 239170. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Belmont Road onto Walnut Tree Avenue onto the A49 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the replacement of a lighting column and repairs to road signs and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th February 2017 between the hours of 21:30 and 06:00 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 4 Nights.
