Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Yarnton, Sandy Lane &Yarnton Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic and Vehicles Date of Order: 13 February 2017 Coming into force: 19 February 2017 This Order is being introduced because of rail level crossing maintenance works to take place overnight between 9pm and 6.20am on the following seven Sunday nights into Mondays mornings at two locations. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle using Sandy Lane and Yarnton Lane as through routes due to closure of the level crossings. 19-20 February;26-27 February;5-6 March; 12-13 March; 19-20 March; 26-27 March and 2-3 April 2017. The alternative routes will be via Sandy Lane or Yarnton Lane, A44 Woodstock Road, Langford Lane, A4260 Banbury Road/Oxford Road,Yarnton Road and vice versa. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
