Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U70710 Royal Parade, Ross on Wye Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with the B4260 High Street to U70710 St Marys Street OS Grid Ref: 359747 / 224143. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4260 Wilton road onto the

U70601 Edde Cross Street onto U7602 New Street onto B4234 Broad Street onto the B4260 High Streetonto
the U70710 St Marys Street and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the safe removal of tree cuttings and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 15th February 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
