Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U74425 Dark Lane, Ewyas Harold, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U74425 Dark Lane outside The Old Rectory OS Grid Ref: 338808 / 228873. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via There is no alternate route for those affected by this proposal and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the repair of a leaking water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th February 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
