NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U81227 Cotterell Street, Hereford, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U81227 Cotterell Street outside no. 67 OS Grid Ref: 349762 / 240321. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U81228 Windor Street onto the U81230 Scudamore Street onto the U81229 Clifford Street and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 6th February 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
