Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Headington, Latimer Road Temporary Prohibition ofWaiting Date of Order: 23 January 2017 Coming into force: 27 January 2017 This Order is being introduced to enable access for construction vehicles and the unloading of materials for building works which are anticipated to take 5 months to complete.
This Order is being introduced to enable access for construction vehicles and the unloading of materials for building works which are anticipated to take 5 months to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily suspend the parking bays on the west side of Latimer Road outside Nos.38 - 40 (Permitted parking is currently for 2 hours only Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm). Parking will be prohibited during the times of:-Weekdays 09:30 - I6:30hrs and Weekends 09:30 - I3:00hrs. Outside of these times the normal permitted parking hours will apply.
(Parking will be suspended from 9 January under a suspension notice until the order comes into force). Exemptions are included for emergency services. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
The relevant parts of The City of Oxford (Headington West) (Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2000 (as amended) will be temporarily suspended as required for the duration of the works.
