THE M5 MOTORWAY, (FRANKLEY SERVICES, WORCESTERSHIRE) (SLIP ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an Order on the M5 Motorway, in the County of Worcestershire, to allow drainage renewal works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to close the slip roads leading-
1) from and to the southbound carriageway of the M5, from and to Frankley Motorway Service Area; and
2) from and to the northbound carriageway of the M5, from and to Frankley Motorway Service Area.
The work will be carried out over night between 21:00 hours and 05:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 30 January 2017 and continue for seven nights. The Order will come into force on Friday 27 January 2017. Vehicles being used by the emergency services and vehicles being used in connection with the works, by a traffic officer or for winter maintenance purposes will be exempt from the closure. THE M42 MOTORWAY AND THE A38 TRUNK ROAD (M42 JUNCTION 1, WORCESTERSHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an Order on the M42 Motorway and the A38 trunk road, in the County of Worcestershire, to allow replacement of lighting columns works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close, in phases-
1) sections of the footway adjacent to the circulatory carriageway of the roundabout junction of the A38 and the slip roads leading to and from the M42 at Junction 1; and
2) the slip road leading-
(a) from the westbound carriageway of the M42 at Junction 1; and
(b) to the eastbound carriageway of the M42 at Junction 1.

The work will be carried out overnight between 21:00 hours and 05:30 hours and is expected to start on Wednesday 1 February 2017 and continue for three weeks. The Order will come into force on 30 January 2017. Vehicles being used for police, fire brigade, ambulance or traffic officer purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works or for winter maintenance purposes, will be exempt from the slip road closures. Pedestrians engaged in Emergency Services activity or acting in connection with the works will be exempt from the footway closure. Access to properties will be maintained at all times.
