ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)(a)
THE A49 AND A44 TRUNK ROADS (HEREFORDSHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A49 Trunk Road and the A44 Trunk Road, in the District of the County of Herefordshire, to allow resurfacing works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to close-
a) the A49 from its roundabout junction with the A44 Mill Street and Ludlow Road, at Leominster to its roundabout junction with the A4103 Roman Road and Holmer Road at Hereford;
b) the A44 from its roundabout junction with the A49, at Leominster to its junction with the A465 at Bromyard; and
c) the circulatory carriageway of the roundabout junction of the A49 and the A44 Worcester Road.

The work will be carried out overnight between 21:00 hours and 07:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 13 February 2017 and continue for 6 nights. The Order will come into force on 10 February 2017. Vehicles being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works or for winter maintenance purposes will be exempt from the closures. Access to properties will be maintained at all times. Diversion routes via the A4103, the A4110, the A44, the A465, the A417, the A4103, and the A4110 will be signed.
