Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U93412 Butthouse Road, Canon Pyon Temporary Closure Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with the A4110 to the junction with Redcastle Road OS Grid Ref: 346258 / 248816. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via U93425 Redcastle Road and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to diversion of BT Lines and replacement of water suppy pipes and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 12th February 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 week.
