ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

CHAPEL LANE QUEENSBURY BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 643) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water mains works proposed to be executed on or near Chapel Lane, Queensbury intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Chapel Lane, Queensbury from a point outside No 26 Chapel Lane to a point outside No. 30 Chapel Lane, Queensbury. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Chapel Lane (unaffected section), New Park Road, West End, Chapel Street and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th February 2017 and remain in force until 8th February 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 26th day of January 2017
