M3 MOTORWAY NEAR EASTLEIGH TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the M3 Motorway in the County of Hampshire, under Section14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road.
The effect of the Order will be to authorise the overnight closure of:-
(a) the roads leading to and from both carriageways of the M3 at Junction 12 (A335);

(b) the road leading from the coast-bound carriageway of the M3 at Junction 13 (A335); and

(c) the road leading to the coast-bound link road (connecting the M3 to the westbound carriageway of the M27 Motorway) at Junction 13 (A335).

These measures will be in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake street lighting repairs, sign replacement and all associated work. It is expected that the work will take place in phases and will last for approximately 7 weeks starting on or after Monday 6th February 2017. The overnight closures will take place between
22:00 and 06:00 (maximum period).
The Order will come into force on 4 February 2017
and have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
Traffic affected by the closures will be diverted
using other junctions on the M3, the M27
and A335. The diversion in operation will vary
according to the closures in force.
The closures and diversion routes will be clearly
indicated by traffic signs when they are in
operation during the works period.
