ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

VICAR LANE BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 642) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Vicar Lane, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Vicar Lane, Bradford from its junction with West Street to its junction with Great Cross Street.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Vicar Lane (unaffected section), Bridge Street, Croft Street, Shipley Airedale Road and Leeds Road.

The proposed Order will come into effect between the hours of 07:30 to 18:00 on 5th February 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 26th day of January 2017
